  • Headaches
  • Arm/Leg Pain
  • Hand/Wrist/Elbow/Shoulder Pain
  • Auto Accident Injuries
  • Sports Injuries
  • Pinch Nerves
  • Disc Problems
  • Hip/Knee/Foot Pain
  • Work Injuries
  • Neck/Low Back Pain

She has experience in providing gentle, effective relief for those suffering with these conditions.

Dr. Brigitte joined her Father's practice, Clark Chiropractic Center, in 2008 and has continued to successfully care for her fast growing patient base utilizing the very best and latest methods, techniques, and equipment.

She uses computerized Spinal Decompression for disc/joint problems of the neck and low back providing relief for pinch nerves, neck, and low back pain.

To provide lasting results for spinal conditions the small stabilizer muscles of the back have to be strengthened, and up until recently this has been hard to do.  Dr. Brigitte utilizes a new therapy called the Active Therapeutic Movement Device and is getting outstanding results with pain reduction and strengthening of the back.

Dr. Brigitte is certified in the very latest computer hand held adjusting Instrument, the Impulse IQ.  This instrument provides painless, with no cracking or twisting of the neck or back, and very effective care for the spine.  Joints that move don't hurt, and joints that are stiff/tight hurt.  The IQ effectively mobilizes the spine to relieve nerve impingement that is often the cause of pain in the low back, neck, shoulders, and other joints in the body.  It also works on a variety of muscular conditions to loosen tight muscles with ease and comfort.

Dr. Brigitte also employs the Rapid Release Technique, a new treatment for soft tissue problems such as:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Trapped Nerves
  • Headaches, TMJ Pain
  • Contractures, Neuromas, Back, Shoulder, and Ankle
  • Tendonitis
  • Range Of Motion
  • Knee Problems, Tennis Elbow

Along with getting good relief of these conditions many patients say it's like getting a mini massage.

A high-powered cold laser has recently been implemented into Dr. Brigitte's practice and she is excited about the great results her patients are getting with many conditions.

Dr. Brigitte has studied the healing benefits of Laser Therapy and was instrumental in obtaining one of the latest, high tech units available today.  She learned that there are more than 3,000 scientific research studies on the effectiveness of Laser Therapy.  Some of the conditions that benefit from Cold Laser Therapy are:

  • Tennis Elbow
  • Nerve Pain
  • TMJ/Jaw Pain
  • Non-Healing Wounds
  • Whiplash
  • Herniated Disc
  • Soft Tissue Injuries
  • Sprains/Strains
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • Chondromalacia Patellae
  • Plantar Fasciitis

Dr. James P. Clark

Dr. James P. Clark, a Pittsburgh native, graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  He worked at Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami, for two years where he witnessed the medical-drug oriented care with the associated side effects up close.  Upon learning about the drugless Chiropractic approach to health care, he moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Logan College of Chiropractic, where he graduated in 1977 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  He returned to the Pittsburgh/North Hills area and started his practice that year.

Dr. Clark has successfully treated a wide variety of chronic health conditions, and difficult cases that have not responded to other types of care.

Dr. Clark once heard the statement that 'man only progresses by the tools he uses'.  With this in mind to effectively help his patients, Dr. Clark has kept up with the newest and most innovative technology available to evaluate and care for each patient and achieve a successful outcome.  He does not use methods that cause popping or cracking of the spine or twisting of the neck or back.

Dr. Clark utilizes the Activator Method Technique and has been Advanced Proficiency Rated.  This method is used to analyze and manipulate the spine and joints of the extremities with a specialized device that delivers an impulse to free up a fixed or misaligned vertebra.  Part of the analysis is observing the leg length inequality while the patient is lying in a face down position on the treatment table.  Often on leg will appear short compared to the other.  This is most often due to the body’s muscle contraction pulling it out of alignment.  A goal of care is to balance the leg length inequality.  If left unbalanced, it is like the tires on a car being out of alignment.  They will wear and tear at an accelerated rate.

Dr. Clark also utilizes state of the art adjusting technology with the Pro Adjustor.  The computerized Pro Adjustor analyzes a patient’s spine and pinpoints areas of resistance that can be the cause of nerve impingement syndrome.  This analysis and care take place all while the patient is seated in an upright position without any twisting or turning movements.  This new form of computerized care is so gentle and effective that is amazes even the most skeptical patient.

Dr. Clark employs multiple therapies with the goal of getting the patient better in the most efficient time frame.  These therapies include Hydrotherapy Massage, Active Therapeutic Movement, Intersegmental Traction, Cervical Traction, Lumbar Disc Decompression, and Nutritional Recommendations.

So, if you have a neck or back condition, you can expect quality care and outcome at our office.  Dr. Clark feels the high success rate his patients experience while under care is due to the fact that the cause of the condition is found before care is started through proper consultations and examinations.

If Dr. Clark feels he can help you, a care plan with a beginning point and ending point will be laid out with treatment goals.  If Dr. Clark feels he cannot help you he will tell you and make recommendations for a referral to another specialty.
